Deer pens muddy

How many deer does everyone else put in pens and how big are pens...our pens are 350'x125'

Each and have around 10-12 deer in each but by end of summer get extremely muddy. We are planning on building more pens but would like to see what you guys did for this problem...

As long as the have some high ground to lay on they will be fine

My pens are 320 by 160 i have 10 does in each no problem with mud but I'm on a big hill

My pens are 150 X 300 and I like to run about 8 deer per pen I have had more at times but I find I have a lot less issues when I put 8

If you have holes in your pen that the deer turn into ponds especially in the corners, I have a friend that cut trees for a living and he bring me wood chips I put that in the holes and it works great dry up a hole instantly.

Thanks for the help guys.... Maybe I just need more pens with less deer.... Kentucky is a wet soggy place even on hills.
