Hello all! This forum is amazing. I'm new here. I'm also in the initial stages of starting a deer farm operation. I fully understand the importance of a good handling system from the get-go. I think I've decided Delclayna is the way to go. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but basically I wanted to see if there were any used systems out there for sale? I didn't see a classifieds section so i apologize if this is not in the correct place. Thank you guys for some great information!!!

Welcome to the wide world of whitetails!

I can't speak highly enough about the value of a good handling system. Just a couple of days ago a good friend of mine had a doe go into labor and only one leg was sticking out of the mother. He called the vet and put her in the drop chute and the vet removed the fawn. Let her back into the pen undrugged and she was able to naturally deliver the 2nd baby. All 3 were doing fine the last I heard. How much did that chute save this guy in just one event?

There are lots of kinds to choose from. My OPINION is the Delclayna is the best. Just look around as there might be a used one available somewhere. If not stick to Delclayna and buy a new one. You will be glad you did.

Welcome to the wide world of deer! (not just whitetail).

A deer crush of sorts is an investment that will replace itself in cost many times over.As will good yards & lane ways.

See if you can spend some time with folks that are working their deer. There are many very generous folks on this forum, & I'm sure you'd be welcome if you don't get in the way & are prepared to do some hands on work as well.

All the best.

Sharkey
