Doe not eating

I have a doe that was purchased a week ago. All she is eating thus far since I moved her to my farm is mainly hay(alfalfa & orchard grass). She will eat peanuts, as much as I can give her for treats. I only give a few a day.The farm that she came from did the same. Now I know that it does take some time for deer to adjust to the new farm and feed, and she acts very calm and is really tame. She is eating very little from the feed bin. I try to switch deer over slowly from their old feed to mine. I've even tried some her old feed straight in her bin and all she does is pick out a few kernels of corn. I wasn't

to concerned because she was eating a little, drinking water ok and her stool was good. But today I noticed that her stool was getting a little runny. She still seems to be acting healthy. In total for the last seven days she probably only ate about a pound of feed out of the bin. If the runny stool persists would tetradure 300 help? Has anyone encountered this? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, Troy Haller

Could it be she is still a little nervous from the move and new suroundings? Tetradure 300 ? Do you mean LA 300? Vitamin B will stimulate her appetite but it sound like she's eating just not a lot. Did the farm she came from have any grass for browse or were they dirt pens? It could be she is just enjoying the new greens in her pen....maybe something she was lacking at the last farm?

One of the doe that I bought two months ago did the same thing. All she would eat is the hay. She got really weak and runny stool. We took the hay away and treated with draxxin and C&D Anti-toxin right away. Then we treated with nuflor for the next two days. She cleared right up and now she runs to her food before her hay

The farm she was from was good open pasture and the fed alfalfa during the winter. I'm going to treat her with tetradure 300, vit B complex, and wormer today, and see if that works. Will probably get her stool checked as well. I've just never had one quite like this before. She looks and acts fine otherwise. Checked her temp and shows no fever. Thanks for your suggestions and help.
