Doe with broken toe

We have a 2 year old doe that appears to have a broken toe on her left rear foot. There is a line on the black part of the hoof about 1/2" from her skin and seems to be extremely flexible. She won't hardly put weight on it. Looking for suggestions on what we should do.

Paul, I had a doe with a similar issue a while back and we decided to sit back and do nothing. She would always be a little ginger with it, but never affected her other than that.

Paul, This is a side effect of surviving B/T. They will do this for a couple of years from time to time. We never treat it, with no problems. MY 2 CENTS ONLY.

I agree, i would not do anything, just like if the leg itself was broken I am sure it will heal up in a few months.

I agree. A couple years ago I had a doe tear her toe almost completely off. After about a month you could hardly notice a limp. I would just keep an eye on it. Just my opinion. Allen

If this was blue tongue can the side effects pop up 6 months or so later. This is a doe we moved to our farm earlier this year and every since late fawning season she has been walking on egg shells. She had also lost a bunch of weight and had no appetite. Thanks for all the input.

Jay that sucks, does anything ever go right. Some times I have to laugh to keep from crying.:)
