We have been planting Dwarf Essex **** for several years, and really like it as a deer forage. Last fall, our **** crop was totally consumed by small flea-like bugs. This year, we do not see the fleas yet, but the damage is showing up on the plants. We believe that it is bugs again, but it is possible it is something else, maybe a disease of some type? What do you think that it is, and how do we treat it in a manner that is SAFE for the deer?
Thanks.
Thanks.
