Does anyone have trouble with deer, especially does, chewing on one another's tags? I've had deer in the chute just because I couldn't read their tattered tags. I've been using the smaller Y-tek tags (two star, as they call it) on fawns because it is fairly small and doesn't droop an ear, then when weaned, I give them a medium (three star) version in the other ear. I bought a couple of does years back that had a more square-tag and much larger. I don't know who makes it, but would like to start using those because one doe is 11 years old and her tag still looks new; on the other hand, with that particular doe, if anyone tried chewing on her ear, she'd beat their whitetail!
