EHD and high dose Dexamethasone

I've spent a few hundred hours researching Dexamethasone over the last few years and how it might be applied to EHD. I have a very detailed article coming out in Deer Breeder Gazette on the subject. I had 100% success with 24-hour turn around once I got to the high dose. I've told people all over the country last year and people continue to contact me. It's the only thing I've found so far that really works. I didn't give any antibiotics once I got to the high dose. An example from my personal experience from last year is a doe that had her tongue swollen so bad she couldn't close her mouth. It was sticking out both sides. The next morning after the high dose dex she had her head in the feeder and swelling was completely gone. Every deer I treated with it had similar results. NONE got followup shots or any other meds. It may be difficult to get your vets to agree on high dosages of dex. The results were dramatic. It has be ordered through your vet and made at a compounding pharmacy.
