EHD outbreak

That is really horrible. I am sure they do not get EHD that bad up north there that often.

Guess I will be hit hard this year from EHD as the dying deer were fifty miles from me. We have had a few every now and then but the FWP has not really told the truth so as not to hurt their wild hunting with hunter letting them know so many died. There were more dead deer and wild sheep than they are letting on. I guess their winter survey will tell the story but will it be a true story?

What ashame.......milk river was one of the premier whitetail hunting spots in the world!!

The Whitetails will rebound...they are a tough breed!!

If I understand it correctly EHD is transmitted through insect bites. Perhaps any one in these affected areas may want to look now to invest some insect control measures now so when prime insect season is here the safety measures will already be in place. It seems to me a little insurance may be in order.
