I wanted to put this on its own thread so everyone would see it. Just in case someone didnt see the thread listed below.

This was already posted on the Auctions worth bidding on!!! Help sam thread. This only takes a couple of minutes and if everyone on here did it, it would surely help Sam keep a positive attitude in his fight.

Here are the instructions for sending e-cards:

Go to the hospital web page at: www.NationwideChildrens.org click on the parents/families/visitors link or Send an e card on the left and click send a greeting card. Follow the instructions and once you finished they will actually print the card you made for Sam and deliver it to his room. Sam Bish is in room 5309

Thank-You so much for caring...Sammy is having a real difficult hospital stay, This time thing are not going so good.

Sam had his 2nd procedure last night...it was his 2nd one in 2 days. Another chest tube was put in but it is a smaller one. Now he has 2 tubes in his left side...one which is malfunctioning. He still has an air leak in his left lung. Praying this new tube does the trick or it looks like this will have to be surgically repaired once Sam's counts are up again.

painted meadows Thank you for keeping us up to date on Sam. Sam has been blessed to have you in his corner fighting along side him

It just tears me up to think about a child going through this. I only wish I could do more to make it easier on him and his family.

I hear ya...i have shed many tears over Sammy and i have never met the boy........He is a trooper that is for sure....i sent him a card yesterday and it was very easy......I even downloaded a picture of some deer to him......he is right lets take a moment of your time and send sammy a card...it is very simple and painless for a child who is going through much pain!!! God Bless his little soul!!!!

I just sent my e-card and it was very simple. I fight back the tears almost everytime I read one of Painted Meadows post's. It seems almost unfair that such a young and innocent boy has to go through all this. He must be one of the bravest and toughest guys ever.

I just sent one out myself!!! If all the good people that use this site just sends a little note to him im sure it will do wonders and then post on here that you sent one and we will see how many farms we can get. Lets do this guys!!!!!

Thank-You all ...He really needs them this time.

I think these last Two hospital stays are wearing them all down...It has been a long hard fight this time, Chest tubes are terrible!!

And the fact he had seizure and was in ICU... I am sure was hard!!

Please pray he gets through this without them having to open his chest again!!

This was his Dad's last Two posts:

had another set back today. There weren't any air bubbles b/c the tube was malfunctioning. They inserted a new tube (smaller than the original) and have (so far) left the original tube in. So, he now has 2 tubes in his side, hopefully they will take out the one that isn't working. Please pray that this works. They... can't surgically repair the lung now because his counts aren't high enough.

Sitting here at the Chateau in the recliner feeling I am living the movie "Groundhog Day". I see the same people walk by all day and they all say hi to Sam. Feels like we won't get past this point until we get it right!!

SAMMY'S MOM WROTE TODAY

Sam still has an air leak in his left lung. The chest tube is not doing what it is supposed to do. Sam will probably have his 3rd Thorocotomy tomorrow sometime where the doctors will have to go back into his lung and stitch up the air leak by hand. This will be his 3rd surgery in a 2 and a half month period. He is such a strong and courageous young man and I know God is with him. Thank you for the prayers in advance.

Just found out that Sam will definitely have the surgery tomorrow, just don't know what time yet. He has been in a good mood so far this morning and ate okay this morning. He is now playing the WII and holding his new Anakin build a bear that a kind soul had sent him. Thank you one and all for your prayers and support.

Sam's been at the top of our list, when I arrive at our study it's almost a competition who can be the first to ask me " How's Sam?" He's become.... one of the family and they have given him a permanent place in their hearts, even my crusty old heart found a soft place for an awsome boy, Sam seems somehow ( Mom and Dad I'm sure)to have learned and applied some of things most don't aquire in a lifetime. God Bless
