fawn mortality

I was wondering if anyone has seen a recent uptick in fawn mortality. Have heard of several fawns dying about 30-45 days after birth due to losing their appetite, developing rapid malaise and weakness, then dying within 2 days. No fever is reported. Some have been bottled fed, others still with their moms.

Any signs of increased mortality with your herds or ideas about causes?

Last year we dealt with very sudden weakness sounds similar. Research that matched the symptoms we were dealing with suggested a vitamin b deficiency. I did give vitamin b complex and ended up saving 2 fawns after losing 2. Haven't seen the same thing again.
