Fawn "skin" question

Hey, hope someone can help me with a fawn skin problem. We have a patch of raw skin showing - no hair - about the size of a 50 cent piece, on her back, near the tail. It's not a scrape, it's red/bumpy like a rash. Now another fawn has a patch too, and an area under the tail is like it. If I put anything ON them, it gets licked off. Can they have mange? What can I do? Otherwise they are healthy, 7 week old bottle fed fawns living together, outside with lots of love. Thanks for any input...

my deer had this last yr and I found out what the culpret was, other critter would bite and pull chunks out ( as a display of dominance I believe) so watch them especally if they are around older animals and around the food bin before you freak out about some sort of disease. Also, dont freak out when the skin turns dark like the color around the eyes and summer ears that is what deer skin does when exposed to sunlight.

buy a black light at walmart and turn out the lights and make sure it doesn't shine an apple green color.. if it does, ringworm(fungus) likely and treat with malaseb wipes 4 times a day for 1 week!!! Good luck and God bless!!!
