Looking for some help making a feed to provides all the nutrients the deer need. I don't wanna buy Purina they are too expensive. I have a local feed store that will make it for $225 a ton. I'm looking for what commodities are a must in the feed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

What part of Missouri? I’m near Joplin my custom mixed feed is over $400/ton.

$225 is pretty cheap in my opinion, and would worry about it having everything they need.

straight whole corn is $180-200 a ton at the same mill.

Cape Girardeau. Well I work for a cattle business that has been dealing with him for a long time so I get those benefits. He has 1 deer farmer that has a custom feed for $.11 a lb.

I’m using whole corn, rolled corn, oats, soyhull pellets, soybean meal, molasses, high energy oil, and protein pellets. That part of the feed is running $295

All of the minerals and Additives give you endless possibilities just gotta find what works for your program.
