I'm new at this and will begin to fence app. 80 acres with 10 foot tall fencing using 14" posts as required here in Michigan. I'm looking at Stay-Tuff and Bekaert fencing in the 23/120 (23120) style with 6" vertical stays. What are your recomendatons? Also, I've been reading up on posts. WOW. Steel or wood, round or square? Right now I'm leaning toward treated wood. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome, I'm about as new as they get around here; however I have already learned a tremendous amount about this business from this forum. It's the greatest, and the best people post here. In PA we need 8ft fence with a recomendation of 10ft. Ithink I will do the 8ft with a single at 91/2ft strand of wire. Try Streamline Products Inc. out of PA they may be able to help.

My choice having used both brands mentioned would be the Stay Tuff 6" on wood will work great but...........................If I had my druthers about it all 3" on steel with angled corners would be hands down choice for me!
