Hey everyone, I'm looking into elk farming and have some questions about fencing. I've never bought fence before and I'm seeing a price range of $1.00-$2.50 per foot. Is this just for the linear feet? For instance, to run an 8 foot high 10 foot long fence at a dollar a foot, would this be 10 dollars or would it be 80 dollars for the square footage?

Smaller areas are more expensive per running foot due to the fact you have shorter straight runs and corners and gates are a bit of money compared to your straight runs. However the 1.00 - 2.50 is really depending on the area of the country you are in and gives room for the varying materials available for use.
