Hello:

I am looking for 4' high fence screening. The screening must be a complete 100% visual block and not just a screen. I need it to prevent dogs from seeing the deer and vice versa.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Daniel

Try looking into land scaping felt it is very durable and much cheaper than alot of other stuff on market. You can't see through the thicker stuff either.

Thanks. I thought about this but was worried about how it would hold up. I have to figure a way to secure it without compromising its strength. Any ideas?

Use two 1x1 boards 4 foot in lenght screw them together with felt and fence in between them. Do this about every 4 foot and keep felt on outside of fence to keep deer from chewing on it as much. If you have a saw mill near by ask them for some edgings these will work as well and probly won't cost much if any thing at all. This will work better than any clips you can by gaurenteed.

We use black vinyl on our fences...only drawback is if your fence is in an area of soft ground (ie if it gets saturated with water easily), the wind against the vinyl will cause it to start leaning...attaching it can also be a pain in the butt. Needs to be secured very well or the wind will rip it down. A lot of the wood we had our vinyl secured with is getting worn out and the screws are pulling out of it...so now we primarily run the vinyl in corners and runs and not so much along entire fence lines anymore.
