Yes, you can apply top spot flea tick treatment on deer. For fawns I'd probably would use cat stuff, adult deer can have dog stuff. I wouldn't necessarily use spray as they'd groom it off and is very irritating to nose. Get Frontline off brand like Pet Armor Plus from Wal-mart as top spot treatment and apply it on back of neck, along backbone. Helps keeping all bugs off of them.
