Always takes time to adjust to change but I think after a while you will find it better then the old . Has a lot of new features you will find after trying it for a while. I have been on this site since 2002 when Russell was just starting and requesting articles and I think this is the best change he has made to make it easier for us.

Definitely slower! I noticed it right away. Thinking some people were put off by not being able to post stuff for sale. I believe one of the first posts was for semen for sale or something and it got deleted and that may have scared some folks off.

Part of the lack of new content is the time of year, I suspect lots of people are busy running deer now. Lots of CIDR's going in, just as many coming out. Don't be afraid to post any questions however, I am sure someone will chime in.
It's just like anything else Johnny B...If It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It!! I've talked to many people that were on here before the change and we all agree.....We don't care for the "New and Improved Deer Forums" You can blame it on the time of year but when participation comes to a basic halt????????????? As Always..........Just My Observation.

I can agree with most people the forums have definitely seemed to come to a halt. And I don't think you can blame it much on being busy look at fawn time these forums are booming and can't say we're not busy then.

Seriously guys??? The man provides a free service all these years. Spends his time and money to improve the forums for the benefit of who, himself? NO! All of the cerivd growers. He finally decides to charge an unreal small fee for ads and people gripe. You have the ability to come on here and piss and moan because he provides you with a forum. Shameful !!!

Roger we are Not pissing and moaning on here as you suggest. But we are entitled to our opinion of the changes just as you are yours. And it is not as free as it was. We also do not talk down to others for expressing their opinions just to express our own. You are trying to make it look as we are bad mouthing Russell and his efforts for what he does. Show me a post that even suggest that?????? Other than yours.

I had no problem with the way it was. I also would have had no problem paying a fee on the old site and left it the way it was. Either way im sure everyone thanks Russell for all he has done! I really dont think its just this site that is down in the deer world. Its kinda seemed as of late its dog eat dog, get what ya can, while you can. Rules, Closed Borders and so on has some on edge i believe. I guess some (Most) are not as good as others!

I like the new forums. My only question is why did it change to .org from .com? This might be an issue also. Maybe the .com could be set to redirect to .org. Thanks for your hard work Russel.
Roger. Where do you see anyone here being rude or criticizing Russell or his efforts?? Please show me a reference to that effect All we are saying is that the new site is not nearly as user freindly as the old site was. Geez Lighten Up Dude. Sounds like someone needs a nap. LOL

I like the changes on the new site. There are lots of features that were not on the old site, I suspect it will take a bit of getting use to. I am willing to learn how to use this tool. I understand where everyone is coming from, the reality is the site is changed. We must now deal with it whether we love it or hate it.
I have no problems with the new forum just seems like a lot of posters don't post as often and the post are very limited. I like it when things perk up and the users have q&a. I only hope this information is not gone. this forum is part of my recreation caant wait to get home to read . this is better than tv thanks Russell for your time and effort. when u old as I new things takes time to adjust just my thoughts
