Funny smelling pee

My bottlefed doe fawn just had her last bottle this week, and is 16 weeks. She started to have soft stool about 4 days ago. Thought the milk might be aggravating at her age so stopped milk (she was only getting 8 oz/day). She got her last bottle 2 days ago. She now has runny poop, and I noticed a strange strong smell to her urine. What would cause this smell? Dehydrated? Any thoughts on if I should give her anything for the runs, I thought it was just the changes in her diet with weaning, but seems to be getting worse instead of better. Thanks for any suggestions.

There is just her, one adult doe, and one adult buck. I'm pretty sure the pee is from her because it is very strong on her hocks. I don't know if the smell is different, or if it is just that much stronger, you can smell it just standing a foot or two away from her. Haven't noticed it with the other doe.

is she drinking enuf? i ask because u said you gave her the last bottle.........i just know from a female perspective that strong urine is usually not enuf fluids or an infection.......

I wondered about that so last night I gave her a 12oz bottle with water and a little pepto. It is getting cold here (in 30's last two nights) and I think she might not like the water cause it's cold and her bottles were warm. I don't know if that makes sense, but with also having some diarrhea, I wanted to make sure she got some fluid in for sure.

i had a goat do that.to get enuf fluids in for the antibiotics I had to add grape pedialyte to the water...fussy things.

maybe some pros here can help out......i just guess on the basic mom stuff ! Good luck

my car vs fawn doe here only pees once a day..its a good bit, but i would think she would go more.......so i tempt her with the grape pedialyte to get more fluids in her
