Careful about getting the stuff from TSC. I built my first pen with that stuff. After I moved my bottle fed does into the pen and locked the gate I headed back to the house. Something caught my eye and low and behold it was my tamest fawn. I picked her up and put her back and watched her walk right through the fence. After close observation (and discussion with another deer farmer) I realized the bottom squares on the stuff I got from TSC were larger than most other brands. TSC did offer a couple of brands and I had purchased the cheaper of the two. I'm not knockin' em. Just make sure what you purchase is what you need.



P.s. I still am able to use the pen for adults just not fawns.

Not to mention that some of the fence they advertise as deer fence is actually 14G wire and not 12.5G, also theirs is not class 3 Galvanized but class 1. Buyer beware, if the deal sounds to good to be true, chance are it is not true. Sometimes trying to save a $ here and there will cost you more in the end in either new fence or lost animals becaue the fence is not strong or is as it reads, again, buyer beware.
