We have 30-40 deer at any given time and use GMS. Yes, it's pricey, but for us, it's worth it.

The tracking of medications and reports is a huge help for us.

For a small herd (20-40) is something like GMS necessary? Its kind of pricey. I realize it probably does a great job, but if I can keep my own records I wouldnt mind doing it myself.


 


Any farmers have a GMS product review?


 


Also, If i wanted to create my own simple spread sheet what are some things that need to be tracked? Other than the basics, what things would you say need to be recorded... Things a new farmer wouldnt think about.
