Goat and deer mix ??

I've got a chance to obtain a tame doe fawn from a farmer who has kept her close to his goats.

She's got a good pedigree, and I can have her for free, but I am sure I read something here about keeping goats and deer seperate.

I've searched and can't find anything.

Is there any disease she could bring home to my herd due to the goats ?

Depends on if the goats have anything goats are not as closely monitored as deer so therefor may have something you don't know about. Plus if you have a status you could loose it bein this deer was kept next to goats.

Dennis Duffy would know more about this goat stuff he raises them for a living. I also wanted to ask you were do you go Morell picking?

where do I pick 'em? I don't usually tell....but if you keep it quiet......in the woods.
