Has anyone cut hay from white clover fields?

I have about 10 acres of Duranna white clover. Right now it is tall and may have to bushhog. Was thinking about having it cut for hay to use next winter. Has anyone ever done that? Can I do it without hurting the clover field?

Thanks!!!!

You won't hurt clover by cutting it and baleing it off. It's actually better to take the cut clover off than leave it laying there. The only thing is you have to make sure it is really dry or it will mold in the bale. You can also spray it as you bale to prevent mold. Rick

I am not familiar with Duranna clover specifically, just commenting on white clover in general.
