Has anyone tried deer feed from Panther Outdoors yet?

I'm looking into new feed this year and stumbled across Panther Outdoors site so I called the guy. He claims 2.5-3lbs of feed per deer after they are conditioned with the feed cutting your feed price in half. The feed looks to be pumped full of mineral and such but the price is out ragious at just over $900 a ton:eek: I understand that if they are eating 1/2 it would be similar to paying $400 a ton but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had any success with it. Thanks.

Is he just doing some tests since he's only feeding a few pens? He was the 3rd person on the guys list I could call but thought I'd post on here first

I have been using mass production deer feed now for almost a year. I can tell you that my cunsumption rate did drop in half. I know this time of year deer cunsumption is low anyway. I am only feeding out right now about 1 lb per deer per day. My deer are in great condition and always seem satisfied. So far the feed has done everything for me they say it will. I just placed a order for there topper. I am excited to try it, I'll keep you all posted over the growing season. Mass production is definitely worth lookin into if your looking for a new feed. Harold is a great guy and will take care of you, plus he delivers the feed personally. You can't go wrong with mass production

Wow that's pretty good if they are satisfied with 1lb per day. Did you notice better antler growth? Thanks for the info.

when peak feeding times they averaged around 2lbs a day. I feel like it has helped with antler growth also

So your not 100% sure if it helps or not then by the sounds of it if you "feel like it helps"? They claim a 30% increase in mass compaired to compeditors feed. If you have been feeding this for a year you should of noticed a considerable change I'd think??? I'm still not 100% sold on this feed yet.

I have saw a lot of results from this feed. The only reason I can't say it builds bigger racks is I am new to deer farming and have only raised 1 buck on it. He is a 2 year old with nothing special on pedigree but was real happy with how he grew his rack. This year I will have him and 6 button bucks. I know that they have had several test farms for last several years and they all say they produced 30 percent more bone. I can tell a big difference how all my deer look at end of winter vs the past winter when they was on a different feed. All my deer seem more conditioned. If you try mass production you can't go wrong.

My 2 year old on mass production

That's a really good looking deer! What is the blood line? That's the first pic I've seen of a deer on the stuff.

Yea he's really nice. I'm not sold on this feed from panther Outdoors though. For the price and quality of ADM feed vs panther I think I'll be using ADM.

I'm not familiar with adm. You ever have any questions about mass production feed you could always call Harold hill with mass production. He is great guy to deal with. I know it's hard to spend $900 a ton on feed but I have noticed it feeds out about half compared to previous feed I was on. I was paying 500 a ton to have a recipe made I had. So I actually found I am saving money on feed because I am feed half as much

Yea I talked to him months ago. Great guy. If I find it to be cheaper for me in the long run to go with it I will but as of now I'm going to look at some options. Record rack is over $550 a ton and so is purina so it's not totally out of the question yet I guess.
