I have a buck fawn that's very lethargic. Moving slowly with hunched back. He was left on his mother. Any help is greatly appreciated.

How old is your buck, poop and pee good? The hunched back could be stomach pain. Electrolytes and sugar water can help him with being lethargic. Pepto bismal could help with upset stomach and ect. I would have the poo tested. Also deer paste or probiotics, helps with the rumen. C&E wildlife products have the deer paste.

He was born 5/30. I honestly don't know about the pee and poop as he's in a large pen amd is on his mother. His tail is tucked and he looks thin. Thank you for your help. Sam

This is the time of year that bacterial things show up. You can put aueromycin crumbles in the feed to get some antibiotic in your deer. Bacterial infections kill quickly and you have to get some antibiotic into them right away and even then it is often too late.
