How close to fawning can you worm a doe?

Just wondering how close to fawning can you worm a doe? Is Safeguard pellets OK to use? Is there only certain times of the year it should be used and what else works?? Yes.. I know this is a loaded question.

Shawn, if there is an unsafe distance on worming does, I am not aware of it. I wormed (with ivomec) some of my does this year just days prior to fawning and saw no ill affects. I also wormed all 22 doe fawns last year with ivomec when they were just days old and they all did great. Mark

there is nothing wrong with worming just prior to fawning, unless the label on the bag of wormer suggest not to feed during late stages of pregnancy.
