A couple of years ago used some that was 25 years old and does concieved.
The cattle industry says 10 to 15 years has no affect on ceonception rate and about a 1% decrease in conception rate for every year of storage thereafter. Also a number of years ago I used some 30 year old angus semen in an embryo program with good results.
Keeping the semen stored in the liquid of a tank will increas its longevity, and custom storage where it is not exposed to the elements would be best.
