I buddy of mine has a 2 yr old this year that should comfortable make it over 300 this year given growth and health continue. If you had to guess how many 2 yr olds in the industry this year will go over 300. 20?, 50? ,100?

My guess is hundreds, I don't know if it would make the thousands, but because of the large number of deer being raised in the country there will always be more than you think. I know of several farms that can grow several a year. There are a lot of farms throughout the country and I would guess only 5 percent of the 2 year olds will score 300" it's still quite an accomplishment. I am a very little farm, with only 4-8 two year olds growing every year, however The Lord blessed my farm with a 307" two year old last year and I might even get another one that could hit the mark this fall.
Its amazing how things have progressed. In 1998 when I started if someone told you they had a 200 inch deer it would be a 4 or 5 yr old and you would have to go see it to believe it.

Hotrod I have a 2 yr old named unleashed that will finish over 300 he was 296@1. This year at two he cleaned up so far and got wider hes around 27-28"inside already with more room on both main beam but your right about how far people are taking the gebetics and making them so much better
