I have 3 fawns 6 days old eating 8 oz. of red cap every 4 hours they could eat more but i dont want to overfeed or starve them is this enough or to much any info is appreciated..

I feed my week old's 8oz x 3 time's a day by the end of week one, then go 10 oz x 3 for the second week. I then go up to 12-14 oz 3 times a day as they get older but never give any more than that. I know they would take a lot more but I feel that the more milk that I give them the less dry feed that they will eat. All of my fawn's grow well and do fine.

I think with Ricks program the reson for less milk than they want is to get them to start eating other food sources to get them to develop quicker!
