I was in Texas the past weekend to see a breeder buck they call "2WIDE".
WOW, was I impressed when we got him on the table. "2 WIDE" was all I expected and more. He grossed 274", with 48" of mass, 60" of brows, 32" inside, 27" mainbeams, 13 1/2" G-3's, 13" G-4's, and 11" G-5's. This deer is the real deal. Northern breeders pay attention here. This is the look we are after. Gene Flees knows a good buck when he sees it, he bought 3 straws at the Texas All American sales last month and there are several others that have as well.
