Here is Big Tea @ 2 He is a Texas Tea son out of a BW Grand Canyon/ BW Sundowner doe. He has over 30 inch beams, they been touching the ground when he eats for three weeks! He has over 15 inch tines with a huge set of brows. This deer has an unbelievable frame for a two year old. As you know, sundowner and most of the sundance line keeps getting bigger and bigger framed as the get older. Texas Tea has continued to get bigger and bigger framed as he has got older. Can you imagine what this guy is going to look like next year ? Semen will start at $2000 and will go up as we go.





 
Awesome deer Kurt!! What is farther back in the pedigree, below sundowner...doe it happen to be Goliath/Mary or something different?? Thanks in advance!
 
his mom is Wh 252

she is Grand Canyon/Sundowner/Nick/Frisco

Nick is a Goliath Mary son

she is in Louisiana on my farm and I got twin doe fawns out of her and Moneymaker this year

Thanks for answering that question bill. The Goliath/Mary crosses are showing up in the pedigrees of Nathan's best deer. Bill what are your plans for ai this fall on white 252 ?
 
No, he is at Nathan's and I have just been up once to get pictures. Should be back up there in a couple weeks.

Kurt I went by Nathans this last weekend and saw Big Tea. Unreal, as big as he looks in the pictures they are not doing him justice. Congrats. The good news for me is I have a Grand Canyon / Sundowner / Nick doe. Woo Hoo!:D
 
Thanks for the compliments guys! Paul, I agree that until you see him in person you just can't get an idea of just how big he is ! He would stick out in a four year old pen.

We had to knock Big Tea down Wednesday and work on a busted drop. Although he wasn't done growing we decided to take his antlers off and minimize the risk of antler infection. He didn't have any ground shrinkage to say the least. Brows over 13, G2 over 16, beams over 30, over 50 inches of mass and inside spread of 26!!! For those that have been wondering, he scored 280 2/8 with a 231 2/8 typical frame. Not too bad for a two year old. Now think about what Texas tea was at two and what he did from two to three. Sundowner was barley over 20 inches wide at two and not much over 200. Big Tea is built to keep getting bigger and bigger framed as he gets older. If you want FRAME, Big Tea has it!

Semen is $2000 for a limited time.

He's a full on STUD!!! Can't say I've seen many 2 year olds if any with 30" beams and a frame like that. DANG!!!
