Is Draxxin ok in a pregnant doe?

I have a doe that has a clear discharge right now from her nose ( like a runny nose ). She is a little off her feet...not eating much and not very active. About 4 months back she had a yellow greenish discharge coming from her nose and she was coughing so I treated with Draxxin and she got better. Now I am worried this will turn into what she had before. Should I treat her with Draxxin again this far in her pregnancy or will that hurt the fawns...if so what is as effective and is safe for fawns. Thanks for any help!

Dave,

I'll jump in on this. I have used Draxxin in late pregnancy for colds in does and it didn't hurt the fawns at all. They were born healthy and no deformities. Good product to use in my opinion because of the duration it is in the system to fight problems.

Thank you Jack...I appreciate your experience on this! I just went and hit her with a syringe with Draxxin in it and hopefully by tomorrow she will be coming around.

Dave,

I'll be getting five of your feeders for my sheep sometime next week. Hope they can stand up to some rams.

Sounds good Jack, Im sure they will withstand some abuse from the rams..I also wanted you to know that the doe I hit with Draxin today in about 70% better already, she was eating like a pregnant doe should and up and acting like herself again. I think by tomorrow she should be 100% if things progress as well as they did toay. Thanks again for the advise..I usually do a follow up shot in 48 hours...do you think that should be ok?

Dave,

Take advantage of the long acting aspect of Draxxin. I would do her again in a week myself as the Draxxin drug will be active longer than that in her system.
