Kind of Off Topic - Vintage Shotgun Shells

Does anyone on the forums deal with vintage shotgun shells or know where I can go to research them? I have 5 or 6 unopened boxes of shotgun shells that I believe date back to possibly the 30's and 40's. I got these from my grandfather 25-30 years ago and just stumbled across them.
