King Pin passes

It is a sad day at Battle Ridge Whitetails with the passing of such a young proven sire. King Pin died this morning at the age of 4. Ever since catching his rack in the fence at the age of 2 he has always had health issues and has never grown his rack to his full potential. What little he was used, he proved to be one of the best sires used on our farm. I would like to thank Dave McQuaig for giving me the opportunity to purchase this yearling at the Top 3 sale. Also, thank you to all of the customers who believed in this sire and purchased semen.

I saw king pin and free agent this summer at Marks and I was hoping king pin would turn around ... but his pass on genetics will go on forever!!!! Great Loss!!!

Mark,

I'm sorry to hear about King Pin passing. Without a doubt he was one of the great breeders in the Industry, his awesome antler traits has certainly shined through in his offspring. Congrats Mark on owning such an incredible animal and again I'm very sorry for your loss...

Sorry to hear about that Mark. But as others have said, he is certainly passing on some incredible genes! No one can take that away from you or him.

Mark,

Sorry to hear of King Pin passing away. This year I was lucky to invest in a King Pin / King Kong doe fawn. Hopefully she will visit our Hard Core button buck. Mark how are you doing glad see you back to work?

Blessings for Thanksgiving,

Scott
