I got a pleasent suprise When I walked in the pen Friday afternoon. I stepped into the pen and one of my does took off, I looked over where she was standing and there were two little newborns, finally.I knew she was getting close but it was seeming to take forver until she finally had them. Out of 6 does, she was the 2nd and last to have. My buck was no good this year, the only reason I have these fawns are because of a button buck I didnt move out of the pen this past winter. What an unknown blessing he was.

The doe fawn was born unable to stand, and the mother didnt even clean her up, i took her in, had to forced a meal in her, but she passed about 12 hours later. She was only 3 1/2 - 4 pounds. The buck looks good, a little small but healthy otherwise. I just noticed momma has a bad case of pink eye or something, she cant open her one eye the whole way. I'll hit her with some LA200 tommorrow. Here are a few pics i snapped after tagging, he sure had a set of lungs on him when squeezed the tagging gun. Heres the pics, I know it has been months since some of you seen a new one, LOL. I am so happy.
