I found a dead fawn just after a lightning storm today. She had an odd looking sore on here shoulder, about as big as a dime. Has anyone ever seen this on any kind of livestock? If so, what should this look like. Jeff

A few years back a friend showed me some pics. of a wild deer out in his feild that was struck.No big visible marks.There were holes in the ground were it grounded out at the feet and foam coming from its mouth.FREAKY......
I had a yearling buck hit a few years ago. It wasn't a direct hit, but it fried his insides. Needless to say after every lightning storm I go to the pen wondering if it can happen to me twice?
