Watching the news this morning and they say a place in ohio has had a breakout of some wild animal's!! It will be interesting to see how bad the animals behind fences twist get's brought into this one.I hope they kill them all as they are saying its shoot on sight. These things were killing, meat eating type animal's.I hope they open the season on them for all hunter's down there. With grizzly and black bear's looking for food.. not to mention the wolves running around. They need to give the green light to shoot to any deer hunter..or any licensed hunter to shoot on sight. I know if it was me i would take one out in the front yard, back yard reguardless of a fine.Schools closed,Telling people to stay indoors..These are killing machines and need to be takin out fast!!! I wish them all luck in finding these things!!! Fast!!

The only animals that they think are still missing is 1 grizzly 1 mountain lion and 1 monkey.

Funny thing I was sitting on a jobsite this morning and that was only 20 minutes away from the facility. Since it was foggy this morning I took a second look at the hay bales in the adjacent field to make sure none were moving.

Will suck if they get all but the cat!!! The bear will screw up sooner or later but the cat..not so much!!!

The cat is what concerns me. It seems like every time I turn around, there is a mountain lion that is reported missing in Ohio.

I think I found the monkey today!!! Glad I got him before he took down one of my deer!!! Those things are quite aggressive you know.:e:pek::rolleyes::):p:p:D

Crazy Crazy Crazy! I have a swarm of News vans and satellites 3 miles down the road from me. I could walk to this guys house. You know its bad when you take a gun to lock the chickens for the night. The crazy thing is my wife calls me home from work today b/c a buck fawn is out. I come home and find a hole in the fence that is torn not stretched. How did a fawn do that? All the deer are accounted for. I got fawn back in and he has not a scratch on him. Probably my tamest buck fawn so what caused this?

I heard a tiger got hit on I-70. Imagine that call home!

All kidding aside I just hope this situation and all the press doesnt come back and bite us in the butt if you know what I mean......

With all the hype around the deer/exotic industry and our captive animals, you would think the authorities would have made an effort to capture the tigers which are endangered. I know they said the police there are not equipped to capture these animals, but if they would have asked the deer/exotic farmers in ohio to help I'm sure at least a few of these magnicant cats could have been saved. It is a shame our industry get overlooked for its contributions to society, but chastized for doing what we enjoy.

I don't know if I agree. They were under a lot of pressure to get the situation under control. God forbid one of those animals would have killed someone......yeah camels is over board......but the lions and tigers they could not full around with. A human life is more important than an animal and I do feel they needed to take control of the situation quickly......some of the animals that were less dangerous could have been dealt with differently........just my opinion.

They were talking about it on the news this morning (Thursday) and were saying how they are going to end "exoctic" auctions in Ohio. Hopefully it will just be the big meat eaters and not things like deer, wildebeast and things like that.

Yeah I knew this would not be good for us.....ismjust the beginning.......I hope this does not come back to haunt us.

I don't see how it will come back to haunt us, deer are not dangerous (for the most part) nor endangerd...There should definitely be stricter laws on keeping animals such as tigers or bears in captivity, and I am sure, after this..there will be.

You all are overlooking the fact that this man had lost his mind. He turns the animals lose then kills himself. We don’t need more laws we just need to enforce the ones we have. I keep hearing the police say that they knew the man well and where kepping their eyes on him for some 20+ violations and other things, and he had just got out of jail. Don’t punish the industry because some wako couldn't be delt with properly. I am a fan of law enforcement and its officers, but if they had this much trouble with him someone dropped the ball somewhere. Don’t blame the industry for one mans insanity. If we don't stand up for the exotic owners we are hurting ourselves!

Sorry for the rant
