I introduced myself on the Deer Farming forum, but wanted to put out a feeler in this forum too...to spread a wider net. I’m looking to start my initial red deer herd and need to find where to buy the right deer to start out (5-10 animals). I’ll be a bit lost on the process to transport them, but am a quick learner and am willing to invest my time and money for safe, healthy, quality animals. If you or someone you know will have red deer for sale in Spring 2019, let me know. My focus will mainly be on venison production, so antlers aren’t my first priority, if that helps.
