Hi Guys:

I am coming up on the final stages of building my handling facility and am looking for an opportunity to visit a farm when they will be running deer through their facility, preferably during TB and Bruc testing but also during antler cutting, treating, sorting for breeding etc. I believe that there is no substitute for in person, hands on experience and working with deer in a handling facility will be a first for me. While there, I will not be in the way and in fact, I can help in anyway needed, I know deer and have been responsible for the handling, darting, treating and moving of deer in our herd. If you're like me then you are always looking for a helping hand. I am in northeastern PA and would prefer something within a reasonable driving distance. If interested, please let me know. You can call me to find out more about me, trust is of utmost importance. Please contact me by email or phone as I have both on me at all times.

Thank You!

Dan- you are welcome to visit our farm. We have a pretty good system that we get a lot of compliments on. We just ran all the deer thru last week to get them sorted into there breeding pens for this fall so you just missed that one. We will be AI'in on Nov-11 so you could come and check it out when we put or pull cidrs, or when we AI..... or all of the above. (free labor is always welcome) I am only about 1 1/2 hours from you so it wont be bad. You could also bring along a straw of Wideout if you need someplace to "store it" for a while.

Josh:

Great, November 11th it is! Thank you very much, I really appreciate the invitation. As for the straw of Wideout, I will bring it if you guys promise to take it easy on me....haha! But you have to put it into one of those stacked doe that you have on your website! Seriously though, looking forward to this.

Please email the details including address so I can get directions and time.

If you want a full day of AI'ing, you should head out to RDM for thiers. They start around 6-7 AM, do thier doe, then travel around to the 4 other local farms in the same day. Equals out to be around 100-150 doe in one day. Its a great time and you get to see alot of different setups. Call Rod And Dianne and they will be able to tell you the date.
