Is there a market for hauling deer for other people? I have friends that haul various livestock cross country, just curious to see if there is a market for hauling deer for people?? I’m assuming this would be from breeder to breeder and breeder to various other places? Any thoughts and or feedback?

Most ppl won’t pay more than $1.00 a mile so let someone else that wants to ware there truck out for peanuts do it. $1.00 a mile doesn’t pay for ****. Insurance is expensive to

That’s low in my book. Trying to get a feel on how many people need this service.

I tried offering it this year but no luck. You can’t make any money at $1.00 a mile no way. Doesn’t even come close to coving fuel. If you want to work for free and wear your truck out go for it. Very few ppl will pay a good rate and they already have a transport guy lined up that they consistently use. Just my option. If I’m wrong enlightened me

Seems like the only way to make money at it is if you are already hauling some of your deer and can get logistically close to others who need deer picked up and dropped off within your trip. Then a $1 a mile isn't horrible, you're already hauling. If you can't find other deer to move on YOUR trip, like R&J said, $1.00 a mile is not very good money. I'm just looking to haul deer on vacation, a farm from Indiana/Ohio that needs deer moved to Florida or Texas because right now it is -12 degrees here in the Hoosier state.
