Hey everyone!

I am new to the business and will be getting my first set of bred does early next year.

My question is: What are some must have medications that all farmers have on hand all the time?

If you were to put together me a medical tackle box. What would you put in it?

Above is a link to a earlier thread that I found by using the search feature.

I would go through our whole drug inventory and list everything for you that we have except I am not home to look at it.

Besides getting all the various drugs it is important to have some understanding how to properly use them. Dosages, drug reactions, humane concerns when using drugs, and such.

Here is a link to a helpful website also.

Keep this link handy and use it to research things out.

Thank you so much! These both look like they will be very usefull. And now the studying starts! :)

One thing we use more than anything else... Ivomec Plus injectable.

Something I just purchased, but think it'll be really useful to keep on hand due to how common pneumonia can be at times...and how quickly it can kill a deer. Draxxin. Not cheap...but it'll usually cure pneumonia right up in one shot.

I'm not gonna list off everything we have and use since you've got plenty of info above...but I do feel those both included specific mentioning.
