This list could go on and on....the most important thing to me it to know how, when, and why we use what we use. If you call the vet with a problem, they will say to give X at X amount SubQ or IM. Here is a short list I would have on hand, but do not use unless directed by a vet or you know how, when, and why to give them.
Banamine
Nuflor
Baytril
Draxxin
Dexamethasone
Mu-se
Bo-se
Some sort of tetracycline (tetradure 300 or LA 200 I use)
Wormer
Vitiam B complex
B-12
Think about the number of syringes and needles you think you need, then go x10 and head to the store. you need 1cc, 3cc, 6cc and 20cc as well as 22ga, 20ga, 18ga, and even 16ga needles for some of the thicker meds.....
Also, I would have aerosol antibiotic spray and aerosol liquid bandage. Don’t forget about Betadine and plenty of stuff to clean up wounds if need be.
I am sure I forgot plenty on this list. I'd have to look at my med and capture kit but this is a good start.
AND THE NUMBER ONE THING I SEE PEOPLE IN THE FIELD WITHOUT.....A THERMOMETER ! TEMPATURE IS A VERY IMPORTANT THING TO WATCH...
