We use and sell Destron Fearings Lifechip ID. They work great and have not had any issues with them. Coby/Jerrilee feel free to give me a call if you want to talk about them. Ryan
I have used chips from both companies. Not sure on current pricing but last year Apple Creek was quite a bit less expensive. Both chips seem to be of good quality.
If you have a 15 digit chip reader these should read just fine, atleast I would think. It will read less numbers of course, but 15 is what the lifechip has. Our sell price on them right now is $75.00 plus shipping for a box of ten.
EZ ID reader will not work with micro chips that Apple Creek sales.
I believe i read that in another post way back when they first came out. I know i was told by ezid that their reader only did their chips and there are 2 different readers at like $500 each that read their 2 different chips. 9 and 15.digits.
Also, check with EZ ID about chips in bulk if you use a lot. They are not preloaded and just come loose in a small bag. We get about 300 each year and buy them that way, it is cheaper.
