Alright guys I know everyone has different ideas on what fawn replacer to use but I have heard from a few people now that they just use Vitamin D milk that you would pick up at your local grocery store. What's everyone's thought one that and what does everyone use and/or recommend?

I agree, straight red cap milk. I add some probiotics, and some pumpkin if they get runny.
I also have a dedicated refrigerator just to keep so many gallons around in the spring.

went to red cap years ago, you could not give me replacer to use for free. 10X easier to fix and way less bloat/runs problems.
That's good info. I'm new to the deer business and this spring will be my first time with fawns. I am planning on bottle feeding all my doe fawns. Thanks for info. How many oz you start out feeding?
This is what I used with my 4 does I bottled fed 2 summers ago. Never had one problem with it and they did very well with it. Will be using it again this summer with my fawns seeing I had good luck with it I feel I better not change. Granted that is only one group of fawns so far for me.

I used red cap milk last year to bottle feed 7 doe fawns, I will probably never use anything else, Much easier you pour in measuring cup put it in microwave a few seconds and ready to go.
Yes you warm it up just like you would for a baby, I drop a couple drops on my wrist to make sure its not to hot.

Good to know everybody. after hearing what everyone has to say I think we are mainly just going to stick with redcap and probiotics this year and see how it does for us.
Im pretty sure whitetail sales sells zoologic. Atleast that's who the zoologic rep referred me to at NADeFA.
