I have a week old whitetail fawn that is staying sick. When I got him two days ago he had diarrhea. I have him Imodium to stop the diarrhea and 2cc of LA 200 just in case it was caused by bacteria. He was pooping out maggots with the diarrhea so I gave him 1cc of safe guard yesterday morning and .5 cc of ivermectin orally yesterday evening. Now his eyes are crusted up, he’s laying down and can barely pick his head up. When he does get his head up he just wobbles around like he can’t balance. He drank two ounces of milk and a couple ounces of water today. What else can I do? Did I overdose him on ivermectin?

Did the fawn live? I was going to suggest taking its poop and have the vet to test it. It’s sounds like it is suffering from an infection.
