As I think everyone knows by now, several deer breeders and hunting ranch owners in Missouri have taken legal action against the Missouri Department of Conservation challenging their jurisdiction and ability to make rules and regulations regarding our animals and industry. It is a simple case where they claim our animals are wildlife and we claim they are not. We have about 20 or 30 reasons why they are not. The only reason they can come up with as to why they are is they look like deer. I don't think that will hold much water in the eyes of the court. After we win this battle we plan on pushing further. This case will open the doors for others to follow.

As simple as this all sounds we are in for a long expensive battle and we need the entire deer farming industry to stand up with us and along side of us. We are simply asking for the courts and/or the legislature to do the right thing. The old idea of telling the truth has never been more important. America was founded on some very basic principles.  Our government at both the state and Federal level has crossed the line. They have lied and pushed propaganda that is more than a little mis-leading. I hope this is just a "first step" to turn the tables and start making people accountable for what they say and do.

I love deer farming and the hunting ranch business. There is no better satisfaction than to take a child hunting for the first time, see a family really enjoy the outdoors together, or watch a sick child fulfill his/her Safari Wish. To think these UN-elected bureaucrats can simply choose to make that all go away makes me sick. Stand up with us. The time has come to say enough!

In my next post I will explain my idea for a new fundraiser....I think it will raise some money and be fun!.....As always your comments are much appreciated!

I am putting a release for each straw in look a-like envelopes and mixing them all up in a 5 gallon bucket. To draw an envelope costs a $250 donation to the Missouri Deer Association. You win a straw on EVERY $250 donation. Buy as many as you like and know you are getting a straw and helping with our battle.

Donations can be made at The Missouri Deer Association  booth at the top 30 (draw yourself) or by calling Kathy Giesen (she can draw for you and you can pay with CC). I will post her number after I tell her what we are doing...LOL

See you all there I hope! If not I'm hoping we can count on your support!

24pxDO YOU FEEL LUCKY?

Can't wait to see what Roaming Eagle does on our farm.  What an awesome way to fund a worthwhile cause!  yep, I got the call tonight saying he was very happy with his envelope.  Thanks Sam!

Well, I was told one of those straws is coming home with the Man of the Farm.  :D Rumor has it there are a couple more up for the picking!  Donate and see what your fingers tingle with...  :)

Not a bad draw in the bunch from what I've seen.

Hi, Tim   Sam said above you could call Kathy Giesen very nice lady she should be able to help you out if interested in a straw or two. The number for Kathy on the association site is 435-817-0150. Ok...we are a little short handed so what we have decided to do is this:

You can text a request to buy a drawing with your name...we will draw for you and text back your winning straw....then I will have our acct call you on Monday for cc or you can send a check. Checks should be made out to Missouri Deer Association and sent to me. I will text address.

We have had a great response already...lights out and both paydays are still there...lol...

Sam,

Have you ever considered moving to Michigan?  Just asking!

Thanks to all for a great fundraiser. We sold about 25 chances. So far no one has drawn the Lights Out or a PayDay. It will happen! I want to keep it going so I am carrying the bucket of envelopes with me at all times. If you want to "play and donate" to our cause just text me and I'll draw and text you all the info you need. Its simple! THANKS AGAIN TO ALL. Help us sell all 100!!!
