Just wanted people who are interested in mule semen that I have put three straws up on Deer Auction with Sam James. A straw of Juan Diego, one of Lancelot and one of Patron. All are sons of Excalibur. Happy bidding.

I have written post on the crossing of whitetail to mule deer for the last eight years. I believe hybrids would do better back East with whitetail genetics in them and would open up new markets for shooters facilities and breeders.
The process is going to take years to get what you can sell. First generation crosses look like whitetail but when those female fawns are bred back to mule deer semen the resulting offspring will pass for mule deer. I've always stated that Eastern people should just breed 75% mule deer and pick buck breeders from those 75% mule deer. Many of the 50% crosses in the bucks have antlers the same as mule deer. But 50% mule deer bucks are sterile but all 75% mule deer bucks are fertile. All females produced are fertile. This should help you Dennis and anyone else thinking about this new option.
