I'm looking for a new dart gun and I was hoping to get some feed back form some people who have used the X-caliber. Pros and cons please. I have not been happy with the accuracy of the gun I have now, and like I said I'm looking for something better. thank you
I find my 389 to be the best shooting projector I have ever used. I can comfortably make shots 50-75 yards as easily as 10-20 yards. It took quite a bit of practice to learn the nuances of the gun, but I do like it alot. The x-calibur may be a fine tool, but it is very pricey and is a bit overkill in its appearance. I can only imagine getting pulled over by a cop with the x-calibur on my back seat and trying to get him to believe it is a dart gun.
Yes ,the x-caliber is one of the best dart rifles made by pnuer dart company....I own a camo one and they are real accurate.They adjust by pressure....its like owning a paint ball rifle. It comes with a small air gas cylinder,you can purchase several small tanks for about $30 a piece..... to refill its like $2.00...each one will shoot like 30 shots.You do have to sight it in towards the size and weight of the dart. I have several pump and cartage ones....and it doesn't compare to those....Highly recommended !!! . And there is a waiting line if you want to get one....I called last week to order one and she told me they are on back order.Good luck !!!
The X-caliber is GREAT. I have a cheat sheet on the pressure needed for .5-3 cc darts and yardages. It is the best tool a deer farmer can have next to a good working chute. They are pricey but what is a deer worth? I have the camo with a green laser sight and scope and this thing is very accurate. 50 yards is no problem and the wind doesn't seem to play as much with it as it did with my pump gun. Good luck

I don't have much more to add than what everyone else is saying but if you want input on how good the X is, here is mine.
LOVE IT!
It is pricey, but well worth the price of admission.
It does look wicked but who cares if the cops can't take a joke
It is silent compared to the others I have used.
It is accurate.
I would say to go with the green lazer and not the cheaper red one because of the sunlight.
It is fast to reload for when you have that opportunity for another shot right away.
The CO2 can be used in 2 sizes of tubes. I use the small tubes because that is what I like and when I go out there I don't have dozens of deer to shoot at one time so the smaller tube gives me what I need.
The case that comes with it does a good job of protecting it.
Best overall darting gun I have ever seen period!
And no I don't work for the company

X caliber rifles are in stock !!!! be advise . I ordered mine yesterday from pnuer-dart company...she said the have them and all they have to do is assemble them and ship them out. They have black and camo stocks .....No more waiting line for them...
