My husband found a fawn this morning that appears to be just a few days old. It was bleating loudly and over and over again. This is how he found it. He went over to it to check on it and saw immediately that it was unable to get up. His hind legs appear to be "paralyzed" and he cannot stand. I am unable to find a rehabilitation center to take the fawn because they are all full. The fawn is alert and not yet dehydrated so I am not sure what happened to cause it not to be able to use its hind legs. I did go and get some goats milk replacement but read that I should give him electrolyte liquid first. I cannot get him to take a bottle. I do not know what to do at this point. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
