I have a doe that had a little foam coming out of her mouth a few days ago. She was puffing her cheeks when she was breathing like she was having trouble, grinding her teeth, and was a little lethargic. I hit her with a total of 6cc of Draxin 3 days apart, thinking it was pneumonia. Last time was 2 days ago. The foam is pretty much gone, but she is still lethargic, puffing her cheeks when she breathes, and just not acting right (Went to feed tonight and she didn't come up, just layed in the corner as all the others came to eat). She also seems to be involuntarily regurgitating and immediately swallowing it back down. Any thought on what I can do for her or what is wrong? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks

it sounds a little like blue tongue. is she eating at all? We have had luck treating blue tongue with 2cc draxin 2cc banimene (sp) and 6cc Vit B complex repete the banimene each day for 3 or 4 days and repete the draxin and B complex on day 2. And as you know lots of probiotics.

Thanks Randy. I know I saw her drinking once but don't know about the eating part. I'll see if I can keep an eye on her tomorrow to see if she eats anything. I sure hope it isn't blue tongue!!! Don't need any of that around!!

Mark, I hate to say it but sounds like EHD! We've been getting hammered down here! Hope that's not the case.
