Hello all, I am considering applying for a breeders license in the state of Alabama. The fact of the matter is that the family enjoys animals, as we have a decent size cattle/timber operation. The only way to acquire “pet” deer is to do it legally. Any suggestions are welcome, as well as any contact for a farmer that would be willing to sell a fawn or two, possibly a tame doe or two. Just looking to raise and enjoy them and hopefully keep costs as manageable as possible to not have to turn a real profit. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
